Flip-thru of the Style Life Planner

What I want to do this post about.

 I'm sitting here trying to figure out what I want to do this post about. 

But I'm thinking I better just say what's on my mind now. :-) 

I'm still working on so much and I've been getting sidetracked easily it's not helping to get things done. 

I have figured out what I want to do on my blog now to get to it. I want to do reviews so I'm going to start getting some things to review. I will do my reviews on my YouTube channel and also post the information, pictures, and like to the channel on my blog so I have it in both places. 

I have so many ideas and what I want to review. so, I think it's about time I do it and not just talk about it. So, once I figure out how many reviews a week I want to do, I will get a month's worth for now and see how that goes. 

I'm also working on Crafts but have to come up with some ideas. that is my biggest thing idea for crafts. I think maybe I will just sit down and start writing them down and see what I come up with. I would like easy, and hard crafts to do. I think I should have started with at least 4 - 6 crafts. so, I will do that as well. I'm working on a few now so I need to finish, etc. to get them on the site. 

Junk Journals I love to do these. I'm working on a few right now and also have a couple done. I will get the pictures and write up the information for them, and pages and add them to the blog. 

I did take some things out of the blog that wasn't needed. I did keep my planner page and I have a new planner coming which I will do a review on, also add pictures, information, and weekly updates on the planner page about this one. and I'm sure I will have others for the coming year.

So right now, I will have on the blog Reviews, crafts & stuff, Junk journals, and planners. If there is something you would like to see on my blog, please let me know and I will see what I can do. 

I took out my Bible journaling for right now, I'm hoping to bring that back later on, but we will see. 

I also straightened out the side panel some as well, changed the background, etc. 

Also, I think I might have jumped the gun and started on the blog before I had enough content then got overwhelmed and just stopped. but now that I have the blog and if I start putting things on paper it might take me a week or so to get some good content, but I think it just might work. So that's what I'm going to do. take and write down what I want to do and when and start getting things done.

 Sorry, I haven't done an update in a while, so I thought I needed to. 

I just stopped doing it and was working on a Junk journal, and other things. before I knew it a month or so had passed. 

But I will be posting and adding more information to the blog, and getting everything updated, so I can start working on other things I have lined up. 

I'm also working on a list for reviews, I will get them ready and start doing the reviews on the blog and YouTube, hoping next week. 

I did take a few things down on the blog and I will be just working with what's on there now. I had too many things going and not enough info and time to do them all. 

I just finished a Junk Journal and will take pictures and post them on the page. I'm working on another one and that one is almost finished. I will try and get the information and pictures up this week for at least that one. 

I have a newer page called crafts and stuff, which I added and will keep adding crafts I make and other stuff there and I do have three crafts on there right now with more to come. 

I also have a Facebook group called crafts and stuff. I just started it and will be adding more info there as well. I will be adding the link and info on the blog for that group. 

I haven't done anything with my planner page really, but I have plans for that and with the new planners coming out, I'm hoping I have more to share and show you all. With Planners, planner ideas, items for my planners, spreads to share, and more. Can't wait to get started on that. so, stay tuned more is on its way.

What Glues do I use and why?

 I thought I would talk about glues I have used several kinds, and I have my favorites, I'm sure you have yours as well. These are the favorites that I use, and I'll be talking about. Like I said I'm sure you have your favorites I'm just sharing what I like and use. 

To start I do love the art glitter glue it's one of my favorites I also use it a lot in my JJ's. the glue dry's wonderfully and pretty quickly, it has a thin line of glue that comes out using a metal tip, you can buy the tips separately. I do have time to fix things if needed, which is what I love about it. it dries clear another plus for me.

I also use a lot of glue sticks to add my pages together, when I add card stock and printed paper, etc. I usually only use two different ones and they are the UHU Stick and Elmer's glue sticks. I have to say I really love the UHU sticks they are wonderful and hold up. 

I usually use the Aleene's Clear gel tacky glue, for embellishments and whatnot, it works really well for embellishments, and I have time to move things around if needed, and this I like sometimes you just don't put things down the way you wanted to. 

I have also used scotch quick-dry Adhesive glue as well, usually for paper embellishments, ribbon, etc. 

For other projects, I use either the above or a glue gun. that's pretty much what I use in my Junk journals and other crafts I make. 

Now the Beacon Adhesives Fabri-Tac Permanent Adhesive is a little pricy, but I love this one, and works wonderfully. I usually try and get it when I see it on sales, etc. so, if you can use this, I would say it's the best to use on your projects! 

I hope this is helpful to some of you. I'm not an expert, I'm just telling you what I use and why in hopes it helps others.

I figured I better give an update and let you know what I've been up to. 
One I fixed the newsletter - which will be for updates, information, and giveaways.

Things that make me Happy!

 Some things that made me happy this year! Not everything but I did get some pictures of things that made me happy and thought I would share them here. Of course, my Children and Grandchildren always make me Happy, and My Husband most of the time :-) My dog Sam makes me happy all the time. he's a great chin. 
I'm sure I will fill up this page in no time. but thought I would get it started. I hope you enjoy it. 

Here is a rainbow. Sam and I were sitting in the car waiting for my Husband as he ran into the store. I was on my phone and happen to look up because I saw all these people looking up. so, I looked and got this picture it made me happy to see it. I even watched it slowly going away it was great to watch. 

This is Moo Syman the goat. She lived on

Syman says Farms. she passed away this year 2022 after giving birth,

and having complications. 

She always made me happy, I would go to the farm to see her
and the other goats.

Now her WIN twins make me so happy. She was the best and she
is sadly missed, by all. They also make soap, and they have Moo Moo soap and a book
that is about her...

Hello everyone!

 Hello,

I'm sorry I haven't posted or done much. I just got overwhelmed with it all. I just stopped everything, not good. I was trying to do some here and there every day, but it just didn't work. so, I decided to work on one thing at a time, I will do posts once a week on one day. then reviews right now I will do once a week until I catch up then I will go twice a week. 

One day a week I will do a craft, another Journaling, and then pictures and write and post on another day, I will do my reviews on another because I write them and do them on YouTube which will be a whole day if not more. if I need more time for one of them, I will still have a few days open to fill in. 
I also do a few other things so I will need one day for that. then one day for advertising, etc. 

I'm working on collaborating with other companies to do my reviews hoping to get a few so I can get moving on the YouTube channel, hoping to have some good news. 

But right now, I've been doing a little at this, a little at that and it's not working. 
so, I will write all this up in my planner for each day. I think this will work better I'm hoping, might take me a few weeks to get it all right so it works, but I think it will.

Like - I have the 01 which makes a 0.25mm line, they have more sizes it is depending on what you're looking for. I love these, I'm always reaching for them, and I went and bought a few more for myself. they write so smoothly I can't say enough about them. and what I like you can buy one to try it like I did, and I went back for more. 

Dislikes - Nothing that I have found at this time.

summary - They have many sizes and colors. Micro pigment ink for waterproof and fade-proof fine lines. 
I like how smooth they write, easy to hold and the cover fits great on these. they also have a clip so you can clip them to your notebook, planners, etc.

New Post Updates!

 New Blog Post, I updated the fonts and size on all the pages, for easier reading, and have a disclaimer and Privacy policy. 

I added a craft section, I have 3 crafts so far on there more to come soon. The planner's page, I will fix that, add more information and take pictures of my next one. 

I have the grandchildren this week on their spring vacation, so not sure if I can get to the reviews. if not, I will work and add as many as I can next week.

On the JJ page I'm almost done with it, have to do the cover, take a closure and check and make sure all pages are finished, embellishments, etc.

I think that is about it. If I have any more updates, I will add them next Monday.

What I want and need for My Reviews & Happiness Blog site.

I thought I would let you all know what I'm doing and going to be doing with my blog, it's been a slow process, but it is getting there.

I love adding and sharing things to my blog that I make, work on, my ideas, etc. might not be for everyone but I decided to do this for me and maybe others would like what I do. I love all kinds of crafts, knitting, crochet paper crafts you name it, something things I can't do any longer, but I still love it.  

I was watching a YouTube video one day on Junk journals and I found out I love working on JJ - Junk journals, might not be the best at it and some might think the same. 
But I really enjoy doing them and taking my time working on them. I have learned every JJ is different you can add what you want in them and as little or a lot, it's totally up to you. you can add everything to them from paper, book pages, envelopes, tags, magazine pages, and so much more. It's really amazing. you can make pockets in them and so much more. I just really enjoy doing them. 

I also found out I like doing reviews, I just enjoy it, I'm new at it, I'm still learning not to forget important details, etc. But to me, this is all a work in progress and I'm learning as I go. I only have a few videos done and already I know I have missed things etc. but I decided not to delete them and to just keep them in the videos. I mean everyone learns so why not see me learning, etc.
I really enjoy showing new Items or things that might not be new but might be for others, I will have more reviews coming soon. I've been working on reviews, craft projects, working on the blog, etc. it all has been taking me some time to do all this, once I have enough of the blog it will be easier to keep up. It sure is starting to look good. 

I also have a page for Bibles, Bible Journals, studying, etc. I love coloring in my Bible Journal, I like using colored pencils I seem to like them the best to use.
I also like doing Tip-ins for my Bible Journal. as well and will be adding maybe handmade tabs as well. I have pictures of what I have done, verses I've done so forth. I will be doing a video on the Bible Journal I'm using and what I have done so far. 
I will add ideas that I have on the page and more. 

I also started a page for planners, I love using planners for my blog and everyday life, so I have two planners. I usually use stickers, etc. in my reg planner. So, I will be adding the planners I use, page setups, pictures ideas so forth. 

I have a page for my Japanese chin Sam. I added his information and I need to still add more pictures, etc. so stay tuned for that. 

I think that is it about my Blog, I do get ideas all the time about what I want to do with the blog. thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy some of this blog.

Key West, Florida is a tropical island that is teaming with activity.  People flock to this island from all around the world to soak up the sun, enjoy tropical breezes, watch the sail boats and get that beautiful tan! 

 

But that’s not all Key West offers by a long shot.  The Key West Lighthouse offers beautiful 360-degree views of the island from the top, if you dare climb the 88 iron steps to reach the top!  Believe me, it’s well worth it! 

 

 

If you get a chance to tour the Hemingway Home and Museum is just as interesting and taking the guided tour, you’ll learn a lot more about Hemingway, the man!  If you’re allergic or have a cat phobia though, this may not be a tour you want to take.  There are lots of cats that live and thrive on the property, all with six toes each per paw – for a total of 24 toes.  Wow.  Of course, they were bred this way to better capture the mice. 

 

With plenty of historical homes, you could explore Key West for a week and still not see everything.  But the one thing you must do when you’re on the island is to stop for a photo shoot of the Southernmost Point in the USA.  Okay, so it’s not the “actual” southernmost point, but that belongs to the military and its behind closed gates.  Be sure to get there early so the line is shorter for other tourists who want to have their picture taken too! 

If you’re looking for places to eat, there are many to choose from and while we ate at Two Friends, The Boat House Bar & Grill, and Caroline’s on Key West, we also enjoyed a meal of hogfish over on Stock Island called Hog Fish Bar & Grill.  If you’ve never heard of hog fish, let me just say; it’s delicious!  From island favorites to whatever you enjoy most, it’s all available on the islands. 

 

 

You’ll discover all too quickly though, that chickens run wild all over the island.  They are everywhere and even have run of the restaurants.  So don’t be surprised if you’re eating, and a chicken walks by your table, clucking away!  It’s part of the charm on this quaint island. 

 

I would be remiss if I didn’t point out the many bars throughout the island too.  Adult beverages are plentiful and it’s so easy to grab a cool drink while walking around to help cool off.  From popular island favorites to ones, I’ve never heard of before – many are delicious and easily found. 

 

 

While camping on the island it was only fitting to design a coconut scrubby.  After all, it shouts island tropics where palm trees sway creating beautiful silhouettes as the sun sinks on the horizon.

Oh, my these write so smoothly when you use them, I just love that they are water-resistant ink markers. they are so easy to write with. the covers come off fairly easy and they stay on when the cover is on.
They come in many different colors as well, from pink, green, smoke blue to dark grey, Lavender, and more. the Brus ones come in Blue, blue-green, yellow, orange, and pink.
It says that they don't bleed through most surfaces, I will test these out on the Video I will be doing. stay tuned for that.

Like - I love the lotion, I have tried my scents and love them all so far. the smell is amazing. 

Dislikes - I haven't found anything that I dislike with this lotion. 

summary - I put this lotion on, and it makes my skin feel amazing, it's not grease at all, goes on nice, and smoothly makes my skin feel great. I have dry skin, and this makes my skin feel silky soft! 
The bottles are great (no Glass) I love that, I can hold these bottles with ease.
