I used a dollar tree small notebook size 5" X 7" you can use any size you would like.
Ribbon
Decorative paper - enough to do the front, back, and inside front & back.  
stickers 
Double-sided Tape
glue
some Ribbon for the tie
4 - tags

Ribbon: I took the ribbon and put it around my book. then I tied in a bow. then cut the ribbon. Now put your double-sided tape across your book front and back where you want the ribbon to go. then peel the tape and stick down the ribbon. 

Coving for front and Back: Now take the paper you are using and cut it the size of your front cover. 
take your wet glue and put this over the back and now stick this on the cover, do the same for your back.
now take the paper you're using for the inside and do the same as the cover and also do the back inside cover. 

Pockets: I made the pockets using printed paper. I cut this the same size as I did for the inside covers. but only went up about 3". 
I then punched out a half circle with my small circle punch. do this in the center of the top of the pocket. 
Now clue the two sides and bottle. glue to the inside cover. and do the same for the back cover.

Tags:
I used four tags for mine 2 for each pocket you can use just one. 
I just inked my tags and put the ribbon in the hole and tied it. I also put a small sticker on each tag.

Embellishments: I just used some sticker stars and added them to the inside cover and back cover. I also had some sticker stockings so added one to the front and one to the back inside cover.

Front cover: I added a puffed-up sticker to the front cover as well as a present sticker, and I had some sticker trim that is mini wreaths and added that along the top of the cover.
